Ordeal Abroad

It’s when you are far from home
And you know you won’t go back soon
And you start missing the routine
That you start feeling homesick
You are overwhelmed with emotions.

It seems the world is over you
And you can’t explain the feeling inside
And you tell yourself, “Go home!”
But you hold on. You remained.
“I must be ruled by reasons.”

But the battle continues within your self
And pent up emotions inside abound
And in your solace you cried out for Him
“Lord, help!” He is always there.
You’ve gained the needed strength to go on.

Now you are starting to build a routine.
And you are starting to adjust with the situation
And in your mind, you are sure of reaching
The goals that you have set before leaving
Because Someone up there is constantly helping.
